En mayo de este año terminaré un Masters (MA) de TEFL (la enseñanza de inglés como idioma extranjero) en la Universidad de Aston, Birmingham. Por este motivo, busco un primer empleo donde profundizar y aplicar de modo práctico los conocimientos adquiridos.

Al finalizar mi licenciatura en Lingüística, recibí formación en la enseñanza de inglés en The Brasshouse Centre, donde estuve durante tres meses. Aquí aprendí unas técnicas muy valiosas para aplicar a la enseñanza en el aula.

Estoy muy interesado en trabajar como profesor en la academia del British Council de Barcelona por su prestigio como número uno entre los centros de la enseñanza de idiomas en el mundo. Con mi formación y especialización académica creo reunir los requisitos específicos para el desempeño de este trabajo.

Entiendo que el nuevo año académico comienza en octubre; quisiera presentar mi candidatura en caso de que surja una vacante.

In May of this year I shall finish a Masters in TEFL (teaching of English as a foreign language) at the University of Aston, Birmingham. For this reason, I am seeking my first employment where I can extend and apply in a practical way the knowledge I have acquired.

When I completed my degree in Linguistics, I received training in teaching English at the Brasshouse Centre, where I stayed for three months. Here I learned invaluable techniques to apply in classroom teaching.
