Dear Mr Baugh
I am writing to ask you to consider the question of my salary.
I have been working at Weebles for three years now in the position of accountant and as yet have not received a salary increase. However, my responsibilities within the firm have increased and I now find I am working longer hours to get tasks finished.
Furthermore, with the arrival of my baby daughter, Mary, this summer my domestic expenditure has gone up and it is becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet.
I find the work at Weebles stimulating and rewarding and enjoy the company of my colleagues. However; an adequate economic situation is essential to the well-being of a family and therefore I should like to discuss this issue with you at the earliest opportunity.

Por la presente me dirijo a usted a fin de considerar el tema de mi sueldo.
Llevo trabajando en Weebles tres años en el puesto de contable y hasta la fecha no he recibido un aumento de sueldo. Sin embargo, mis responsabilidades dentro de la empresa ya son mayores y también dedico más horas de trabajo para acabar las tareas encomendadas.
Además, con la llegada de mi hija, María, este verano mis gastos domésticos han subido y me es cada vez más difícil llegar a final de mes.
Encuentro el trabajo en Weebles tanto estimulante como provechoso y disfruto de la compañía de mis colegas, sin embargo, una situación económica adecuada es esencial para el bienestar de una familia y, por lo tanto, le ruego me ofrezca la ocasión de tratar este tema con usted en la primera oportunidad.
