I am replying to your letter of the 4th April, in which you requested a reference regarding Ana Súarez Holguín.
Ana worked for us for over two years and during that time she proved to be a most excellent interpreter. She was dedicated to her work and was always willing to adapt to often demanding work situations where she had to work to strict deadlines or endure long hours. I consider her ad hoc interpreting skills as outstanding; she is a clear and precise speaker and remains calm under what for most would be stressful conditions.
Ana left us only to seek more remunerative work and we were sad to lose her, both as a colleague and a professional. I would recommend Ana unreservedly for the most demanding interpreting posts.
If she should be accepted by your company, I should like to wish her well in her new position.

Me dirijo a Usted en relación a su carta del 4 de abril, en la cual pidió una referencia para Ana Suárez Holguín.
Ana trabajó con nosotros durante más de dos años y durante este período se demostró ser una intérprete excelente. Estaba totalmente entregada a su trabajo y estaba siempre dispuesta a adaptarse a situaciones a menudo difíciles donde tenía que trabajar con miras a plazos muy determinados o suportar largas horas de servicio. Considero que se destaca en su capacidad de intérprete; se expresa claramente y con precisión y se toma las cosas con calma en situaciones, las cuales serían por otros, estresantes.
Ana sólo nos dejó para buscar un puesto más remunerativo y nos entristezó que se marchara, tanto como colega como profesional. Recomendaría a Ana sin reservas para lo más exigente de trabajos de intérprete.
