An influential position for a dynamic accountant
The Learning and Skills Development Agency is a national organisation for development in post-16 education and training. Working with schools, colleges, training and voluntary organisations, employers and the government, our activities cover research, policy advice, professional and organisational development and curriculum support.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified accountant with outstanding strategic thinking and financial management skills to join us in a highly influential position.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will focus on the Agency's overall business performance and take responsibility for financial, resource and business planning. In addition, a key aspect of this demanding role is the management of the corporate services functions relating to HR, IT, Premises and Customer Services which, together with Finance, support the delivery of the Agency's mission.
To meet the challenge you will be a member of a professional accountancy body with substantial experience of managing both financial and other corporate services. Your demonstrable strategic leadership ability will be supported by highly developed communication and presentation skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
