European weather outlook:

Scandinavia:

Denmark and southern parts of both Sweden and Norway will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain.

Further north, there will be snow showers. High temperatures: 4º- 7ºC in the south but temperatures will fail to get above zero in central and northern areas.

Low Countries, Germany, Austria, Switzerland:

The Low Countries will start cloudy with rain but it will clear to sunshine and showers during the morning. Germany, Austria and Switzerland will start mainly dry but increasing cloud will bring rain in from the west. High temps. 7º - 9ºC.

France:

Eastern areas will start the day cloudy with rain. However, it will become drier and brighter during the afternoon. Elsewhere will have plenty of cloud although not enough to stop the sun from breaking through at times. there will be scattered showers but these will be confined mainly to western coasts. High temps. 8º - 11ºC

Spain and Portugal:

Western Portugal and north-west Spain will have a bright start with isolated showers. However, the cloud will increase throughout the afternoon threatening evening rain. The rest of Spain and Portugal will be mainly dry with plenty of sunshine and just patchy cloud. High temps. 15º - 18ºC around the coast and 8º - 11ºC inland.

Italy:

Central and southern areas will have a dry day. There will be plenty of sunshine as the cloud will be well broken. The north will start dry but increasing cloud will threaten rain by the end of the afternoon. High temps. 14º - 17ºC.

Greece:

A fine and settled day. There will be lots of sunshine although a little more cloud will develop during the afternoon. High temps. 15º - 17ºC
