Cuando era niño estudié en el Conservatorio de Música en Buenos Aires desde los siete años. A los 12 años llegué a Nueva York y fui contratado por Matt Mancinni. En 19.. empecé a tocar con el conjunto famoso de Jeff Bridges, y después con el grupo Boogie Ya, donde estrené el violín electrónico, cambiando para siempre el sonido de la Jazz.

Para ustedes que no saben toda la historia, basta con decir que por 22 años fui un adicto reconocido de la cocaína. Me arrestaron, pero antes de que pudiesen condenarme, salí bajo fianza y me fui del país.

Viví muchos años en Venezuela y en el proceso, me di cuenta del daño que estaba causando y dejé de usar drogas. Empecé a trabajar en la lucha para mantener a otros lejos de los vicios. Raramente perdía la oportunidad de tratar de convencerles a todos sobre la importancia de mantenerse lejos de las drogas.

Aún así no he podido regresar a donde más quiero estar: Nueva York, debido a los cargos pendientes.

Tendré que realizar el trabajo comunitario, cosa que haría encantado. Puedo usar mi música para recaudar fondos y así ayudar a los centros de rehabilitación. Además puedo usar mi música para inspirar a los niños en los programas de prevención de drogas. Prometo trabajar sin descansar para ayudar a otros a que no usen drogas. Pero para que pueda regresar a Nueva York, necesito cartas de apoyo del público.

I have been gone a long time.

When I was a child, I studied at the Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires starting when I was only 7. At age 18 I landed in New York and I was hired by Matt Mancini. In 19.. I joined the famous Jeff Bridges band, and then left to join the Boogie Ya band where I debuted my electrified violin, changing the sound of Jazz forever!

For those of you who don't know the entire story, suffice it to say that for 22 years I was an admitted cocaine addict. I was busted, but before I could be convicted, I skipped the country.

I lived in Venezuela for many years where I realized the pain I was causing my loved ones and the damage I was doing to myself. I stopped using drugs and not only got myself cleaned up, but also started working very hard to keep others off of drugs. I helped build 10 rehabilitation centers there, and rarely missed an opportunity to preach the importance of staying drug free to anyone within earshot.

Still, I have not been able to return to my beloved New York because of the pending charges.

I will gladly put in the required community working hours. I can use my music to raise a lot of money to help the rehabilitation centers and I can serve as a role model in drug prevention programs for children. I promise to work tirelessly to help others stay off of drugs. But in order to be able to return to New York, I need letters of support from the public.
