Gracias por tu carta y las cosas agradables y cariñosas que me cuentas en ella. Sentí tanto el que te fueras así durante tanto tiempo pero supongo que el trabajo debe ser prioritario. Yo también debo admitir que me siento cómoda estando y charlando contigo. Si te escucho con mucha atención es porque te encuentro interesante; hablas con tanto entusiasmo de las cosas que se nota que amas a la vida.
Desearía que tu trabajo en Madrid termine muy pronto para que vuelvas otra vez a Sevilla y tomemos otra copita en ese bar tan bonito en la calle Betis. ¿Te acuerdas?

Thank you for your letter and the sweet things that you said. I was so sorry you had to go away like that for so long but I suppose work must come first. I must admit that I also feel comfortable being and talking to you. If I listen to you so intently, it's because I find you interesting; you talk with such enthusiasm about things, you can tell that you love life.
I hope that your work in Madrid finishes soon so that you'll come back to Seville again and we can have another drink in that lovely bar in Betis street. Do you remember?
