Instructions:

On this page you can find help to write up your recipes in Spanish.

If you are going to need vocabulary help, click on the appropriate dictionary icon on the left of this page for the recipe dictionary. If you do this now, it/they will be loading while you continue reading. The dictionaries can be closed into a button if you do not want them on screen. (You can close the dictionaries into buttons while loading.)

The next thing to do is open your floating recipe writing box. Do this now. Click here. This box contains a bogus 'recipe' to show you the format of your recipe instructions. Type your ingredients by the side of the existing ones and then erase the bogus recipe ingredients. Then erase the ???? and write in the instructions of preparation for your recipe. (Please do not try the bogus recipe; you may become very ill ! - it's just there as a guide.)

There are also some example bilingual recipe texts to show you the style of writing some typical Spanish dishes. (These are real ones you can try!)

When you're ready, copy and paste your recipe to your PC.

Redactar Recetas

Instrucciones:

En esta página puedes encontrar ayuda para redactar tus recetas en inglés.

Si vas a necesitar ayuda para el vocabulario, haz clic en el icono apropiado a la izquierda de esta página para abrir el diccionario de recetas. Si haces esto ahora, se estarán cargando mientras sigas leyendo. Puedes cerrar los diccionarios en un botón si no los quieres en la pantalla. (Se puede cerrar los diccionarios en un botón durante la carga.)

Después, hay que abrir el cuadro de texto flotante de recetas. Haz esto ahora. Pincha aquí. Este cuadro contiene una receta 'falsa' para enseñarte el formato para la redacción de las instrucciones de la receta. Teclea los ingredientes al lado de los existentes y después borra los ingredientes de la receta falsa. Después puedes borrar los ???? del cuadro de texto y en su lugar escribe las instrucciones de la preparación de tu plato. (¡Ruego que no pruebes la receta 'falsa'; puedes caer muy enfermo! - está allí únicamente para servir de guía.)

Además, hay algunos ejemplos textuales de recetas bilingües para ayudarte con el estilo de redacción. (¡Estas recetas sí las puedes probar!)
