Fred lives in England but now he's on holiday in Spain. He's fed up with England.

Fred vive en Inglaterra pero ahora está de vacaciones en España. Está harto de Inglaterra.

In England, the sky is always grey and cloudy. It's cold and windy and it rains all the time.

En Inglaterra, el cielo es siempre gris y nublado. Hace frío y viento y llueve todo el tiempo.

But it doesn't rain in Spain in summer. It's hot and sunny and the sky is always blue. Fred loves this country.

Pero no llueve en España en verano. Hace calor y sol y el cielo es siempre azul. A Fred le encanta este país.

He doesn't want to leave. He wants to stay here. He wants to swim in the warm sea and lie on the beach every day.

No quiere marcharse. Quiere quedarse aquí. Quiere nadar en el mar cálido y tumbarse en la playa todos los días.

In the evenings he wants to go out to expensive restaurants. He stays one month in a hotel.

Por las noches, quiere ir a restaurantes caros. Está un mes de un hotel.

Then the day comes to leave.

Entonces llega el día de marchar.

Fred goes to pay his hotel bill but he hasn't got any money.

Fred va a pagar la factura pero no tiene dinero.

The hotel manager is very angry.

El director del hotel está muy enfadado.

He says, "Pay your bill or you don't leave here!"

Dice: -¡Pague su cuenta o de aquí no sale!

Fred thinks and then says: "All right, what's the weather like here in winter?"

Fred piensa y luego dice: -Muy bien, ¿qué tiempo hace aquí en invierno?"
